I have a Jumbo cup bakeoff this weekend for a short film called 'Pattiserie Nights' filmed at Chickpea in Cotham
An unconventional 15-minute Romantic Melodrama, about an awkward, shy young man working as a Barista in a Patisserie in Bristol, whose decision to hide himself away from the world is challenged when he meets an intriguing, attractive woman with a dark past. Though by rights she is everything he is not, she turns out to be everything he needs.The story is driven by their unusual meetings and alternative attempts at forging a relationship. Despite the fact that their lives and upbringings are worlds apart, the humanity in them calls them together.
